Recipe of the Month

Baked Doughnut Nuggets

1-1/2 cups all purpose flour ** 2 teaspoons baking powder** 1 teaspoon nutmeg ** 1/2 teaspoon salt ** 1/2 cup or 1 stick butter at room temperature ** 1/3 cup sugar ** 1 large egg ** 2/3 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, powder, nutmeg, & salt in a bowl, stir and set aside. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter & sugar till fluffy. Add egg, mix. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Beat until smooth. Fill mini muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes before shaking them in a cinnamon & sugar mixture. Makes about 30 nuggets.
